Overview

The University of Strathclyde Global Research Scholarship offers tuition fee-only funding to outstanding students applying for PhD programmes at Strathclyde Business School. Up to nine scholarships are available for candidates starting in October 2026.

Eligibility

First-class or upper second-class degree (or equivalent)
Master’s degree (or equivalent)
Strong research background (e.g. dissertation/project work)
Demonstrated commitment, resilience, and research potential
Meet English language requirements (IELTS 6.5 or equivalent)

How To Apply

Apply for a PhD programme via the University of Strathclyde application system (Pegasus). Indicate your interest in the Global Research Scholarship in the Funding section. Ensure all required documents are uploaded before submitting your application.

Note

Up to nine scholarships are available. Start date is October 2026. Scholarship cannot be combined with other University of Strathclyde awards. Applicants must show proof of ability to cover living expenses.
